Important Information about Changing Personal Information

All information in the new GroupWise system originated in Banner. When the information is changed in Banner, it is updated in the new system automatically. The trick is that different information must be changed in different ways, and by different people.

     
Where Information Must Be Changed
  • Legal Name, Title
    • Maintained by Human Resources (x8207)
  • Telephone Number, Department
    • Maintained by Telephone Services (x8157)
  • Preferred Name, Office Location
    • Maintained by You!
     
How to Change Preferred Name and Office Location
  1. Log into Uvlink
  2. Click on "Banner Self-Service"
  3. Click on "Employee Services"
  4. Click on "Office Location Information"
  5. Click on "click here" in the sentence "If you need to add or correct any of this information please click here"
  6. When you have changed your "Preferred First Name," "Building," and "Room", click "Submit Changes"
  7. Logout or use UVLink as needed
